Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye is the wife of the General Overseer and has a heart of pursuing the good of ordinary people. She is a veteran teacher and started her teaching career as a spinster and in the course of her life acquired various teaching skills. Her seasoned experience as a teacher qualified her to be appointed as the Headmistress of Christ the Redeemers’ Nursery and Primary School, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

As a teacher, she can be described as humble, patient, and a lover of little children. She has also been seen to be generous to the point of making great sacrifices of her time, talents and treasure. Her love for children prompted her to establish Christ the Redeemer’s Nursery and Primary School (CRNP) AT Ebute-Metta, Lagos. The encouragement she had from humble beginnings inspired the establishment of other nursery, primary and secondary schools as well as the newly established university, Redeemer’s University of Nigeria (RUN)

Mrs. Adeboye is a strong pillar, a visionary and a wonderful planner who complements the efforts of her husband. Her sterling attributes have helped her husband to obey God’s command to become great. As the saying goes, “behind every successful man, there is always a woman.” She works to crown her husband’s ministerial work (Proverbs 12:4a). She believes that the primary calling of a woman is to help her husband accomplish whatever work God has committed into his hands (Genesis 2:15-18). She also written a number of books.

She has many ministries under her umbrella, some of which are:- The Womens Ministry, where Pastor Mrs Adeboye takes it upon herself to reorganise the women for efficiency and uniformity in the mode of operation in the parishes. She also oversees the Wholistic Outreach Ministry which was established in 2003 with a vision to reach out to prostitutes and stranded teenage girls.
